A man and woman died in the single-vehicle crash on the A4093 at Gilfach Goch at about 10:30 BST on Saturday.
Police said the BMW 1 Series convertible was going from Hendreforgan towards Tonyrefail when it left the road.
The police investigation is continuing and there is an appeal for witnesses.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said next of kin had been informed and were being supported by family liaison officers.
